Before I get back to editing, a quick proposal idea, inspired by Joey and Jennifer…
This is for the more creative types. There are many avenues to attempt this feat, I will suggest a few. Draw, paint, or print out some sort of artwork, with the words, “Will You Marry Me?”
Now, this can be a clean piece of art, where you see it immediately. It can be abstract, where she has to figure out what the art means. Perhaps there is a picture of someone’s WILL (Last Will and Testament)- followed by a big U (or a pic of HER). Then maybe a picture of her/your parents from their wedding day (This is especially touching if you plan to surprise her with this on a holiday or at a time when family will be around). The last would be a picture of you. All together, you see what that spells out figuratively. If you can find the proper tools, turning the picture into a puzzle would add a whole other layer to the drama/excitement, as she races to put together the pieces…
Whatever you do, just make sure that as soon as she figures out what the picture is, and what you’re doing, that when she turns to you, you’re waiting, ON BENDED KNEE.
Make sure you have the ring turned right side up also. 😉
