Jack first contacted me by email. He was taking his girlfriend, Maddy, to Los Angeles on holiday and wanted to propose. He wanted to make sure it was caught on camera.
Over the course of the following 4 weeks, a lot of planning took place. An 8 girl Acappella group was added to the mix, as well as a plan to incorporate myself, them, and Jack & Maddy, in a way to make this an unforgettable moment in the lives of everyone involved. But especially for Jack and Maddy.
Watch it all unfold, beginning AFTER the point at which Jack and Maddy “randomly” walk by our singing group being filmed by yours truly just off the Bike Path on the Santa Monica boardwalk. The plan started with me pretending to need “real couples” to take part in the music video we were filming.
Maddy thought they were just stopping to take pictures of the beautiful sunset, and when I asked them to participate in the video, her first response was, yeah sure, “if you wouldn’t mind if we took some pics of the sunset first.” I offered up a trade. Sunset pics for their participation. Snapped some pics of them… and then this happened…

Kelly and John got married at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California on August 9, 2014. This was a custom, upgraded Diamond package- and my first ever FIVE camera solo shoot (something not possible when using all DSLR cams). The 5th camera being a tree mounted GoPro behind the officiant for the ceremony. Fun day with a fun couple and an amazing location.

This was such an amazingly fun wedding to film. First off, it was at the Santa Barbara Zoo, which was an amazing setting. Beyond that, it was just one of those days and groups of people that you could feel the love and happiness everywhere. Truly a beautiful day. This was a two camera, single videographer shoot, with an extra camera for the ceremony. (Diamond Package w/upgrade)

Dina and Reggie got married at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California on July 6, 2014. A beautiful outdoor setting, with a dome like surrounding and a pond backdrop for the ceremony, before moving inside the two level ballroom for the reception. This was a two camera, single videographer shoot, with 2 additional set cameras for the ceremony. Deanna at Chic Ambiance Events was responsible for setting up this breathtaking night.

Jaime and Andrew got married at Braemar Country Club on October 25, 2014.
